Let us help you navigate the Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship (PGP) process with professional and licensed immigration services.
Canada values family reunification. Through the Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Program (PGP), Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor their parents and grandparents to become permanent residents of Canada.
Once approved, your parents or grandparents can live, work, and enjoy health and social benefits in Canada.
To sponsor your parents or grandparents, you must:
✅ Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
✅ Be 18 years or older
✅ Meet the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) requirement for the past 3 years
✅ Sign a sponsorship agreement committing to financially support your parents or grandparents for 20 years. If you live in Quebec, it’s 10 years.
Note: The PGP is highly competitive and has annual intake limits set by IRCC.
If you don’t get selected for PGP, your parents or grandparents may still be eligible for a Super Visa, allowing them to stay in Canada for up to 5 years at a time.
